Thermal Validation Thermocouple Sensors
CCS is a manufacturer of thermal validation thermocouple sensors. CCS uses a high accuracy FEP Teflon (200°C) insulated, 24 and 22 AWG 7-strand conductor, (+/-0.3°C at 121°C), type "T" thermocouple wire. Each 1000 foot spool is calibrated at 121°C from samples taken from the top and bottom of each spool to ensure quality and accuracy. These thermocouples are supplied in custom lengths with welded and Teflon capped tips. They are available with stripped ends or standard size connectors for quick disconnect. The finished thermocouples are tagged according to customer specification.
CCS also offers a 28 AWG 7-strand conductor, Special Limits type "T" thermocouple with FEP Teflon (200°C) insulation. Also available is a Kapton insulated 22 AWG 7-strand conductor, Special Limits type "T" thermocouple for use in dry ovens to 300°C. These wires are offered with Special Limits conductor which is +/-0.5°C or 0.4% of reading, which ever is greater.
In addition, CCS also offers Type T, J & K Special Limits thermocouple wire on spools.
Thermocouple wire is certified in accordance with NIST 250-35 and ASTM E 220-86 depending on customer requirements at a nominal fee. Samples are taken from the top and bottom of each spool to ensure quality and accuracy. |
